Emílio Nhabai
Lawyer, holding a Law degree and currently pursuing a Master’s in Labor Law, with more than a decade of dedicated experience in legal practice within the Mozambican context. He has played a prominent role in providing legal counsel to national and international companies, non-governmental organizations, and private investors. As founding partner and senior lawyer at EN Advogados, he leads the firm’s most strategic cases, advising clients on labor, corporate, banking, intellectual property, debt recovery, and litigation matters, including mediation and arbitration. Dr. Emílio Nhabai combines technical excellence with ethics, discretion, and a results-driven approach. He is recognized for his in-depth legal analysis, strong advocacy skills, and preventive, strategic vision in dispute resolution, standing as one of the key references in leading the team and guiding the institutional direction of the firm.

Ágata Vilú Levene Chiconela
With over a decade of experience in the legal field, she is a professional with a strong analytical mind and technical rigor. She has extensive experience in the following areas: Labor Law, Corporate Law, Litigation, Immigration, Real Estate, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
In addition to being a lawyer registered with the Mozambican Bar Association, she is an arbitrator registered with the Center for Arbitration, Conciliation, and Mediation (CACM), as well as with the Lusophone Association of Arbitration and Mediation (ALAM), where she serves on the Under-40 Committee as one of Mozambique’s representatives.
In her day-to-day work, she has been focusing primarily on commercial and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, liquidation and dissolution, foreign investment, due diligence, as well as the incorporation of commercial companies and related secretarial work, the analysis and drafting of contracts, and the preparation of binding legal opinions; in short, ensuring the legal compliance of companies and other entities.

Specialized in Mozambican Immigration Law, with approximately 11 years of experience, of which 5 years were spent as an Assistant/Migration Officer and 6 years as a Migration Consultant. Possesses a holistic understanding of the process of hiring foreign labor under the Normal/General regime and special regimes, i.e., the Oil (Areas 1 and 4 of the Rovuma Basin) and Mining sectors. His experience includes: i. Legalization of Entry (Visas), Stay of foreign nationals/regular immigration status in the Republic of Mozambique, including coordination with Mozambican diplomatic missions in the diaspora, SENAMI (National Migration Service) and border crossings to streamline the visa application process; ii. i. Mobilization of foreign labor (Work Permits/Certificates), including the design of strategies and practical hiring solutions suitable for each type of company; ii. Registration of Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations; iii. Acquisition of Mozambican Nationality.
